The varsity lacrosse Owls (10-4) secured a 13-7 victory over Chaminade, delivering a balanced offensive performance and strong play in goal.
MUS spread the scoring throughout the lineup, led by senior Dallas Keras with two goals and two assists for four total points. Senior Sanford Owen and sophomore Bruce Stockburger each added two goals, with Stockburger also contributing an assist.
Additional goals came from senior Will Fortas, senior William Fruechtenicht, senior Feild Owen, who also recorded two assists, junior Henry Cannon, junior James Hanlon, junior Walter Sherman, and freshman Hudson Rhodes. Sophomore Thomas Levy added an assist as the Owls continued to move the ball effectively on the offensive end.
At the faceoff X, sophomore Caleb Loudenbeck provided a key advantage with eight wins to help MUS control possession.
In goal, junior Joel Hobson turned in a standout performance with 16 saves, anchoring the defense and limiting Chaminade's scoring opportunities.
With the win, the Owls continue to build momentum as the regular season concludes this afternoon in a home matchup with MICDS.Â
