The varsity lacrosse Owls (8-4) capped off Senior Night yesterday with a strong 17-10 victory over Houston, delivering an impressive all-around performance in front of the home crowd.
SeniorDallas Keras led the offensive effort with a standout night, recording seven points on five goals and two assists while adding four groundballs. Senior Sanford Owen matched the scoring output with five goals of his own, helping power the Owls' attack throughout the contest.
Senior Will Fortas and sophomore James Hanlon each contributed two goals, while senior Feild Owen added a goal. Freshman Hudson Rhodes and sophomore Caleb Loudenbeck each recorded a goal and an assist, and senior William Fruechtenicht chipped in with an assist as MUS showcased balanced scoring across the lineup.
Sophomore Thomas Levy led the team with five groundballs, contributing to strong possession play. In goal, junior Joel Hobson anchored the defense with 10 saves to help secure the win.
The Owls controlled the tempo throughout the game, using a balanced offensive attack and solid defensive play to pull away and earn the Senior Night victory.
