The Owls improved to 2-0 on the young season with an impressive victory over Baylor School in their home opener yesterday, showcasing a balanced offensive attack and strong defensive play.
Senior Dallas Keras led the way with a dominant performance, scoring a team-high five goals and adding two assists to pace the Owls' attack. Junior Henry Cannon and sophomore Caleb Loudenbeck each recorded two goals. Sophomore Bruce Stockburger, senior William Fruechtenicht, and freshman Hudson Rhodes each found the back of the net to round out the scoring effort.
Juniors Cannon Sherman and Woodson Dunavant each recorded an assist as MUS moved the ball effectively throughout the contest. The Owls controlled the tempo on both ends of the field, securing their second win of the season.
With the victory, MUS builds momentum as they prepare for tomorrow's 2024 State Championship Rematch with McCallie.
