On the track, the Owls produced historic performances throughout the season. Senior McEwen Taylor Jr. set school records in both the 100 meters (10.61) and 200 meters (21.86), while contributing points across multiple events. Fellow senior Porter Spiceland capped one of the most accomplished distance-running careers in program history by establishing school records in the 1600 meters (4:14.14), 3200 meters (9:07.48), and 2000-meter steeplechase (6:13.22). MUS also enjoyed tremendous relay success, setting school records in the sprint medley relay (3:32.60) and distance medley relay (10:54.64), while posting strong performances in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 relays. In the field events, the Owls showcased their depth with standout efforts in the jumps and throws, including new school records in both the shot put relay (133'6½") and discus relay (420'7").
At the championship level, MUS captured its first regional title in 11 years by winning the West Region Championship and sent a strong contingent to the TSSAA Division II-AA State Championships, where multiple athletes earned top finishes in sprint, distance, relay, and field events.
The Owls also received significant postseason recognition. Spiceland and Taylor were both named to the Commercial Appeal All-Metro Team, while fellow seniors Harry Alexander, Ehi Ataga, Charles Doughtie, Gavin Gatere, Spiceland, and Taylor; juniors Carson Alexander, Allen Halliday Jr., Jackson Halpern, and Coleman Russell; sophomore Kade McCracken; freshmen Fort Gusmus IV and Noah Hinote; and eighth grader Henry Cole earned Daily Memphian All-Metro honors.
The season concluded with eight school records broken and three athletes signing to continue their track and field careers at the collegiate level: Gatere with University of Kentucky, Spiceland with Villanova University, and Taylor with Belmont University.
The season will be remembered as the program's most successful campaign since 2014, highlighted by a region championship, record-breaking performances, and a senior class that leaves a lasting legacy.
