The varsity Owls track & field team continued its impressive season with another dominant showing, capturing 1st place out of 12 teams at Home Meet #3. The Owls delivered strong performances across events, highlighted by multiple event wins and podium finishes.

Field Events

In the Pole Vault, seniors McEwen Taylor Jr. and Harry Alexander led the way with 1st and 2nd place finishes, respectively.

Junior Allen Halliday Jr. secured a 1st place finish in the Shot Put, continuing his strong season in the throws.

The Owls also excelled in the Discus, where seniors Gavin Gatere and Charles Doughtie finished 1st and 2nd.

In the High Jump, senior Ehi Ataga added to the team's efforts with a 4th place finish.

Track Events

In the distance events, freshman Noah Hinote and senior Carter Wildrick turned in a dominant performance in the 1600m, finishing 1st and 2nd.

Junior Jackson Halpern captured 1st place in the 110m hurdles, adding another event win for the Owls.

The sprint group continued to shine in the 100m dash, where Taylor Jr. took 1st place and Gatere added a strong performance.

In the 800m, sophomore Kade McCracken, contributed valuable points with a 2nd place finish. 

Overall Performance

The Owls showcased their depth and consistency throughout the meet, with athletes stepping up across all events. The team's continued success reflects the hard work and momentum building as the season progresses.

The team will look to carry that momentum forward as they prepare for the final stretch of the regular season.
