The 2026 varsity soccer team finished the season with a 5–9–2 overall record against a challenging schedule. After a season-opening loss to Houston, MUS responded with a strong showing at the Southern Coast Cup in Foley, Alabama, winning two of three matches with victories over Boyd Buchanan (3–2) and Westminster Schools of Augusta (2–1). The win over Boyd Buchanan also marked the 500th career game coached by head coach Vincent Beck in his 29th season at MUS. Over the next stretch of the season, the Owls continued to compete with resilience and discipline, recording three shutout victories, including a 1–0 win over ECS and 3–0 victories over Westminster and Overton. Throughout the spring, MUS showcased steady defensive play and determination against strong competition.
Following the season, senior Andy Yambrek was selected to the 2026 West Tennessee All-Star Game roster, a well-earned honor recognizing him among the top players in West Tennessee. Yambrek also earned Daily Memphian All-Metro honors alongside fellow senior Daxton Saunders, with both players recognized among the area's top performers for their contributions during the 2026 season.
