The Owls closed out their regular season Thursday afternoon, battling SBA in a tight region matchup at Bowlero Bartlett. Despite several strong individual performances, MUS came up just short, falling 16–11 in the finale.
Game 1
SBA claimed Game 1 by a 1,135-1,096 margin, splitting the individual matchups 4–4 while securing the crucial pinfall points.
Junior Chase Frazer (198-169) and sophomore Hank Thompson (176–165) each turned in strong efforts on the high lanes, while senior Reese Deupree added a steady 185-183 win. Junior Jacob Stalls delivered the standout performance of the game with a commanding 268-136 victory to keep MUS within striking distance heading into Game 2.
Game 2
The second game followed a similar script as SBA edged the Owls 1,078-1,063, taking the individual points 6–2.
Thompson earned another win (183-134), while Stalls again lifted the Owls with a strong 235-230 performance.
Baker Games
MUS gained ground in the Baker portion, winning the overall pinfall 384–374 and securing two critical Baker points, though SBA held on to the match lead.
SBA earned the final pinfall bonus points after finishing with a narrow 2,587-2,543 advantage across the match, securing the 16–11 win.
