The Owls secured a dominant region win Tuesday afternoon, defeating Briarcrest 23–4 at the Cordova Bowling Center behind balanced scoring, steady execution, and another strong Baker finish.

Game 1
MUS opened the match with a strong start, taking Game 1 by an 1,131-946 pin margin and earning six of eight available points.

Sophomore Drew Tayloe set the tone early with a 180-174 win on the leadoff pair, while junior Jacob Stalls (196–162) and senior Reese Deupree (248–131) delivered big totals to widen the gap. Junior Chase Frazer (172–121) and sophomore Hank Thompson added needed points as the Owls controlled the opening game from start to finish.

Game 2
MUS followed with another strong showing in Game 2, again earning six points with an 1,138-977 advantage.

Tayloe secured another head-to-head win (174–173), while Frazer stepped up with a big 209-183 performance. Stalls added a 167-121 win, and Deupree continued his standout day with a 245-119 victory to help the Owls maintain full control of the match.

Baker Games 
The Owls put the match away in the Baker portion, sweeping all eight Baker points.

With the sweep—and a 2,613-2,131 pinfall advantage overall—the Owls claimed all three bonus points, sealing the 23-4 region victory.
