The bowling team turned in a strong performance against region rival CBHS, this afternoon, ultimately falling 17–10 in a tightly contested match at Billy Hardwick's. The final pinfall total was CBHS 2,442- MUS 2,400, a difference of just 42 pins.
In Game 1, the Owls came out strong behind solid scores from senior Reese Deupree (212) and junior Jacob Stalls (209), while sophomore Hank Thompson (178) and junior Rex Levy (177) added consistent efforts to keep MUS within striking distance.
Game 2 saw continued effort across the lineup, with Stalls (187) and Deupree (191) once again leading the way, supported by contribution from sophomore Drew Tayloe (158).
The Owls closed the day with two excellent Baker Games, rolling identical scores of 194 in each — outpacing CBHS's 170 and 125 to finish the match on a high note.
Despite the narrow setback, the Owls showed depth and resilience throughout the lineup, signaling strong potential as region play continues.
