Tournament: Baylor Preview (Season Opener)
Location: Black Creek Club (Chattanooga, TN)

The Owls delivered a strong performance on Day 2 of the 2025 Baylor Preview, moving up to finish 7th overall, out of 14 teams, with a team total of 621.

Junior Drew Knighton led the charge with an impressive 2-under 70, finishing 8th individually at 145. Sophomore Cobb Whipple followed with a solid 73, improving significantly from his opening round. Freshmen Harris Laughlin added an 82, while Jack Faber, 81, and Miles Cross, 83, rounded out the scoring.

The Owls shaved nine strokes off their Day 1 total, showing resilience and depth across the lineup. Competing against a deep and talented field, MUS made key strides and gained valuable experience early in the season. The contest marked the first tournament for MUS head coach Chip Campbell.
