The golf team wrapped up their 2025 season with another outstanding performance at the TSSAA Division II-AA State Tournament at Sevierville Golf Club, finishing as state runner-up for the second consecutive year, 11th in school history.
Junior, Brantley Moore led the charge for the Owls, capturing the individual state championship with back-to-back rounds of 70 (-2). Moore's composed play featured four straight birdies in Round 1 and three consecutive birdies in Round 2 propelling him to the top of the leaderboard and earning his first state title.

The Owls showcased depth and resilience across the lineup, highlighted by freshman Jack Faber's remarkable 65 (-7) in Round 2 — the lowest round recorded in this years tournament. With consistent performances and a determined finish, MUS secured its second straight state runner-up trophy, reinforcing its standing as one of the premier golf programs in Tennessee.
