The wrestling team had a busy night on the mat last night in Todd-Snowden Gym, opening the evening with a strong 56-24 victory over Brighton before closing the night with a 63-17 loss to Millington. 

Against Brighton, the Owls set the tone early, earning pins from Oliver Leavitt, Ari Madasu, Trey McDonald III, and Cody Pratt to secure the team win. One of the highlights of the match came from John Corbett Lamanna, who recorded his first varsity win with an impressive 10-0 decision.

In the second match of the night, MUS faced a tough Millington squad. Despite the team result, the Owls continued to compete aggressively, earning pins from Trey McDonald III (his second of the night), Haadi Ranjha, Will Sherrod, and Henry Tuck. 

The Owls will look to build on the positives from the evening as they prepare for Houston this Friday.
