2024 Season Recap

Prior to Drew Hinote's first season as head coach, he stated "I am excited to continue this legacy of dedication, hard work, and success, and I look forward to working with our talented athletes to achieve new heights together." The Owls began their season with two of their biggest competitions of the year in the Twilight Classic at Mike Rose and the Chickasaw Trails Invitational in Oakville, Alabama. With a third-place finish in individuals and medalist honors, junior Porter Spiceland led the Owls to finish runners-up in the MYA HS Championship and TSSAA Div II AA Region Championship. And in Hendersonville, the Owls ran a competitive race and finished tenth, marking their 40th appearance at the TSSAA state championships. The program's emphasis on discipline and teamwork has been pivotal in maintaining its status as a formidable contender in state-level competitions. Postseason honors went to Porter Spiceland as he was named All-Metro, and seniors Stanton Miller and Noah Porter as co-recipients of the school's Russ-Billings Cross Country Award.
