Bennett returns for his fourth year coaching MUS football as he coaches his first season of wide receivers and as newly appointed Head Coach for the JV Owls. As a player, Bennett was a two-year letterman at quarterback and helped his team to a 2013 state-championship runner-up finish. After having graduated from MUS, he went on to play baseball at Ole Miss, Itawamba Community College, and the University of Memphis before signing a professional contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. Bennett was hired as head varsity baseball coach for MUS in June of 2024.
