Allmond enters his fourth season coaching running backs at his alma mater. He coached Tee Perry ’24 to over 1,600 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns in his career as Perry entered the record book in three different career rushing categories. His first back, Hunter Barnes ’22, rushed for 770 yards and 13 touchdowns his senior year under Allmond’s guidance. As an outstanding player, Allmond was a three-year letterman at running back and slot receiver. He played on two undefeated state-championship teams in 2008 and 2009 and was named All-State his senior year. After high school, Allmond continued his athletic career at East Tennessee State University, where he ran track.
