Stewart begins his third season on the MUS offensive staff. In 2023, he helped lead a prolific offense that averaged over 30 points per game. He previously served as the head coach at Briarcrest Christian School, where he compiled a 66-36 overall record and led the Saints to their first-ever Division II-AAA West Region title. In 2021, he was named recipient of the National Football Foundation Rex Dockery Award and served as a head coach in the Liberty Bowl All-Star Game. He led Jackson Christian School to the program’s only state championship in 2006. He had also coached at Middle Tennessee Christian, Mobile Christian, Harding University, Guilford College, and Freed-Hardeman University.
