The 7th Grade Red Owls turned in an impressive performance at the MAM/Streets Classic, capturing the JV Division championship with three decisive wins in bracket play.
The Owls opened bracket play with a dominant 54-28 victory over New Hope Christian Academy in the quarterfinals, setting the tone with strong defense and balanced scoring. In the semifinals, the Owls continued their momentum, rolling past PCA Southeast 57-16 to earn a spot in the championship game.
In the finals, the Owls delivered another complete performance, defeating Collierville Middle 49-29 to secure the tournament title. Throughout bracket play, the Owls consistently controlled the tempo, applied pressure defensively, and played unselfish basketball on the offensive end.
Three Owls earned post-tournament honors for their standout play. Charlie Faber and Abram Wharton were named to the All-Tournament Team, while Sam Bergeron was selected as the tournament's MVP.
