Lower School Owls Claim Small Male Division Title

The lower school swim team delivered a championship performance Saturday at the Middle School Championship Meet, capturing 1st place overall in the Small Male Division behind several top-five individual and relay finishes.

The Owls set the tone early in the 100 Yard Medley Relay, as the quartet of Bretton Frey, Hill Heard, Mack McLaren Jr., and Aiden Hood raced to a 2nd-place finish, providing valuable points toward the team title.

Individually, McLaren led the way with a 2nd-place finish in the 50 backstroke and a 5th-place result in the 100 IM. Hood followed with a pair of top-five performances, placing 4th in the 100 freestyle and 5th in the 200 freestyle.

Additional top-five finishes came from Frey, who placed 4th in the 50 backstroke, and Heard, who added a 5th-place finish in the same event. Together, the Owls' depth and consistency across events powered the team to the division championship.

Great job!
